Besides me, who else is covered under my homeowner’s policy?

In most cases, the homeowner's policy will have a named insured—usually the owner or tenant named on the deed or lease. The spouse of the named insured is also covered, even if he or she is not named on the policy declaration. The personal property and liability provisions in the policy will also cover other users and residents to some extent; for example, the insured's children or someone under 21 in the insured's care would likely be covered. Any loss of personal property on the premises suffered by  employees may also be covered, and you can elect to extend coverage to your guests by making a request to your insurance company.
